Frank Duran, a Cargill meat plant worker in Dodge City, and his 20-year-old daughter Guadalupe Navarrete, who works at National Beef in Liberal, were pulled over by an ICE vehicle with sirens while driving home from work in southwest Kansas. An officer demanded Navarrete roll down her window and show identification but did not respond when she asked if he had a warrant or why they were stopped. Both are U.S. citizens who have lived in Kansas their entire lives, and Navarrete was left shaking and crying after the officer scanned her identification. She told her father, "We're both born here in Kansas. We're legal citizens, Dad. They profiled us." They were not detained and were allowed to drive off after the stop. The incident occurred amid a broader ICE enforcement action targeting meat processing plants in the region.

ICE impersonator harasses Uber driver and passenger in Los Angeles

A man in a white truck impersonated an ICE agent by displaying a fake badge and clipboard while harassing an Uber driver and passenger near USC in Los Angeles. The man yelled racist slurs, spat at the vehicle multiple times, and chased them for several blocks before fleeing. The incident lasted approximately 20 minutes and was reported to 911 and the Newton Community Police Station.

25 groups demand closure of Farmville detention center over deadly medical neglect

House painter detained after ICE operation at St. Paul home, family says agents had no warrant

Jeffrey Suazo, 26, a Honduran national who came to the United States four years ago fleeing persecution, was detained by federal immigration agents on November 25, 2025, during an operation at his home in St. Paul. Suazo, who works as a house painter and is the breadwinner for his household, was leaving for work at the same time as a tenant who was the target of the operation. According to his family, agents surrounded both vehicles in unmarked cars and pursued Suazo when he drove back to his house; he was held inside for five hours while more than 200 community members gathered outside to protest. His family stated that agents did not present a warrant, threatened to force entry, and used manipulation tactics including taunting Suazo in Spanish and mentioning his girlfriend's 6-year-old sister to pressure him to leave the house. Federal immigration officials filed a criminal complaint charging Suazo with assaulting a federal officer. His family describes him as a devoted partner to his girlfriend Deylin, a caring person with no criminal involvement, and essential to his household's financial stability.

Man detained by ICE loses car to towing during 80-day detention

The incident prompted Maine's Secretary of State to temporarily adjust the state's process for transferring ownership of abandoned vehicles to better protect detained immigrants.

Immigration agents detain Raleigh contractor while wife is 8 months pregnant

Charlotte man says Border Patrol agents injured him during traffic stop

U.S. citizen and undocumented father detained by federal agents while shopping in Little Village

Mistrial declared in Prairieland detention center protest case

On July 4, 2025, roughly a dozen people demonstrated at the Prairieland ICE detention center in Texas, and gunfire erupted during a police response with one officer reportedly injured. Nineteen people were charged with material support for terrorism, rioting, and other federal crimes. On February 17, 2026, U.S. District Court Judge Mark Pittman declared a mistrial during jury selection in the case involving nine defendants, citing an attorney's attire. Jury selection is scheduled to resume on February 24, 2026.

U.S. citizen Carlos Jimenez shot by ICE agents during Ontario enforcement action; disputes escalation account

Carlos Jimenez, a 24-25-year-old U.S. citizen and food bank worker with three children, was shot in the shoulder by ICE agents on October 30, 2025, during an enforcement action in Ontario near an elementary school bus stop on Baseline Avenue. According to Jimenez's legal team, he approached the officers to warn them that children would soon arrive at the nearby school bus stop, and was shot from behind while attempting to leave the scene after an agent drew a gun and pepper spray. Federal authorities maintain Jimenez reversed his vehicle toward officers in a threatening manner, prompting defensive gunfire. A bullet remains lodged in his right shoulder, and bullet fragments remain in his torso, causing ongoing pain. Three men detained during joint wildlife and border patrol at Louisiana lake despite no witnessed crimes

Border Patrol agents detain man at east Charlotte church during raid

Court Orders Release of Detained Immigrant After Due Process Violation

The court found that the government violated his due process rights by failing to provide a pre-deprivation bond hearing before a neutral arbiter.
