Castañeda was arrested but released within 72 hours, after which Francesca says he called ICE to prevent Herrera from testifying against him in the firearm case. Herrera remains in ICE custody at the Tacoma detention center while his attorneys argue the detention was retaliatory and aimed at obstructing the criminal case against his father-in-law.
