Man Released After Federal Judge Orders End to ICE Detention Following St. Paul Crash
A Honduran national was struck by an ICE vehicle while fleeing agents in St. Paul in December 2025, resulting in a multi-vehicle crash at an intersection. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken into custody. A federal judge ordered his release in February 2026, ruling his detention unlawful due to denial of a bond hearing and lack of proper administrative procedures by authorities.
