Man detained by ICE at Seattle-Tacoma Airport after work trip
Daniel Hidalgo-Argote was detained by ICE at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on September 2, 2026 while returning home from a work trip. He has lived in the United States for over 10 years, earned scholarships for his academic performance in high school, and graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering. He remains in custody awaiting a court date of September 21, 2026, while family and friends work with lawyers to seek his release on bond.
