Brooklyn restaurant owner loses half staff as Haiti TPS ends
A Supreme Court ruling allowed the Trump administration to terminate Temporary Protected Status for approximately 350,000 Haitians, effective July 27, 2026. Over 40,000 Haitian TPS holders in New York contributed more than $140 million annually in state and local taxes.
