ICE arrests 121 in Texas lake community during summer-long operation
ICE's Dallas office conducted a summer-long enforcement operation around Lake Lewisville, Texas, running from June 27 through Labor Day weekend, resulting in 121 arrests. The operation was carried out in coordination with state and local law enforcement partners, allowing local agencies to focus on boating safety enforcement while also supporting investigations into an alleged illegal livery operation on the lake. Officials said two of those arrested were allegedly affiliated with the Tren de Aragua gang, and that every person arrested had a criminal record, including charges such as assault, theft, burglary, DWI, evading arrest, family violence, and sexual assault of a child.
