City of Tucson employee briefly questioned by ICE agents
A Department of Transportation and Mobility employee was approached and questioned by ICE agents around 6:40 a.m. on Friday at a convenience store on Irvington Road near Benson Highway. The agents asked for identification but turned and walked away when they noticed the City of Tucson logo on his work vehicle. City Manager Timothy Thomure expressed concern that the employee appeared to have been randomly selected for questioning based on an unstated profile.
