ICE arrests 14 people in Hackettstown enforcement operation, two with prior criminal histories

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 14 people during an immigration enforcement operation near Hackettstown, New Jersey on August 6, 2026. According to DHS, all 14 individuals entered the United States illegally and are now in removal proceedings or undergoing removal. Two of those arrested had prior criminal histories: Rafael Salazar, a Dominican Republic national previously arrested twice in Miami on cocaine possession charges, and Luis Rivera Guillen, a Honduran national with prior convictions in New York.
