A father in Danbury, Connecticut, was detained by ICE agents shortly after walking his child to a bus stop, according to Clementina Lunar, an advocate with the group Danbury Unites for Immigrants. Lunar said the arrest was part of a broader ICE operation that week which she said separated more than 40 families, including mothers with young children who lost their household's primary earner.
