ICE agents use batons on protesters during Frederick home raid stakeout

Federal ICE agents staked out a Frederick neighborhood for about 40 hours before clashing with community observers gathered near a targeted home on Friday night. Agents drove vehicles onto sidewalks where observers stood, then used batons to strike people who had formed a human barrier in front of the house, dragging some who were sitting on the porch. City Council President César Díaz and Vice President Katie Nash, who witnessed the clash, said observers were not violent, and Frederick police who responded did not assist the federal agents. No arrests were made, a couple of people were injured, and it did not appear anyone inside the home was detained.
