ICE arrests six people during Woodstock, Illinois enforcement operation

ICE agents conducted a targeted enforcement operation in Woodstock, Illinois, arresting six people ranging in age from 23 to 48, originally from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. ICE identified those arrested as Alex Francisco Diaz-Quintanilla, Israel Espinal-Diaz, Daniel Nehemias Martinez-Esteban, Lazaro Cruz-Morales, Gabriel Martinez-Quintanar and Jayson Josiel Ruiz-Figueroa. ICE said one of the men had a 2024 weapons conviction, and all six remain in custody pending removal proceedings. A separate federal drug warrant was served at the same location by DEA, Illinois State Police, FBI and local agencies about two and a half hours later, which authorities said was unrelated to the immigration enforcement action.
