Migrants who refused Africa deportation flown to second country

On Aug. 20, four Cuban migrants, a Brazilian and a Cameroonian refused to disembark from a U.S. deportation flight after it landed in Monrovia, Liberia, according to The Guardian. The group was instead flown onward to Equatorial Guinea, a country with which the United States has a separate third-country deportation agreement reportedly worth $7.5 million.
