ICE Boston conducted a three-day targeted enforcement operation during the week of Sept. 21 in southeastern Massachusetts, arresting 82 immigrants with criminal histories. The agency stated several individuals had been released from jail by sanctuary jurisdictions that declined to honor ICE detainers. Alleged charges among those arrested included assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, possession of child sexual abuse material, extortion, strangulation, DUI, and larceny.
