ICE arrests father outside Encinitas elementary school during drop-off

ICE agents arrested a father from Guatemala outside Park Dale Lane Elementary School in Encinitas on Wednesday morning while dropping off his daughter. The arrest was witnessed by parents and school staff. This was the third ICE arrest outside a San Diego-area elementary school in August. The man had an outstanding removal order from an immigration judge since 2017, according to ICE.
