California DOJ Reviews Immigration Detention Mental Health Services 2025

The California Department of Justice released a comprehensive review of immigration detention facilities focusing on mental health services and conditions. The report examines five ICE detention facilities in California including Adelanto, Golden State Annex, Mesa Verde, Imperial Regional, and Otay Mesa. This is the fourth report issued since 2017 pursuant to Assembly Bill 103 to increase transparency about detention facility conditions.
