U.S. Border Patrol, Montana Highway Patrol, and other law enforcement agencies conducted a multi-day operation from Dec. 7 to Dec. 11 along the Interstate 90 corridor near St. Regis, arresting 51 people including 41 undocumented immigrants. The operation seized over 14 pounds of methamphetamine, nearly 14 pounds of cocaine, 4 grams of fentanyl, and 118 grams of marijuana, and recovered two missing juveniles from Washington state. Law enforcement also recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested individuals with felony warrants and DUI convictions. During the same period, Montana Highway Patrol's Criminal Interdiction Team conducted separate enforcement activity in Billings, making three additional deportation arrests and seizing more than 14 pounds of methamphetamine.
