Polish immigrant detained after ICE chase ends in tree crash on Northwest Side

Konrad Wojciech Darlak, an immigrant from Poland, was detained by ICE agents on June 9 after federal immigration agents chased his vehicle through Northwest Side streets. The chase resulted in his car losing control and crashing into a tree. DHS characterized the operation as a targeted enforcement action.
