On May 28, 2026, ICE agents detained multiple employees at Don Patron Mexican Restaurant locations in Weston and Bridgeport, West Virginia, including Erick Cristal Cumes and Jose Cruz Castro. More than a dozen workers were taken into custody at each location. The detainees' families reported poor detention conditions, including spoiled food and limited contact with relatives.
