An LGBTQ Ghanaian refugee who was forcibly transferred to Cameroon ultimately returned to Ghana rather than face indefinite detention. Another LGBTQ Ghanaian refugee who was also forcibly transferred tried to apply for protection in Cameroon and was reportedly told that Cameroon would not consider asylum claims based on sexual orientation.
