Dante S., who had lived in the United States for 13 years and worked in construction, was pulled over by Jacksonville, Florida police while leaving a construction site. When his passenger tried to run, three officers broke the driver's side window and pulled Dante out by force despite his compliance. He told officers he had heart issues and begged them not to taser him. They discharged the taser anyway, and he fell to the ground. An officer forced a knee onto his head. 'That is the last thing I remember. I woke up in the hospital in complete shock,' he said. The police report stated he was arrested for not having a current car registration. He was later transferred to Camp East Montana.
