Two El Nopalito restaurant kitchen staff detained by ICE

Two brothers working as kitchen staff at El Nopalito restaurant were taken into ICE custody earlier in the week. They have legal advisors but require financial support for expenses including phone calls, legal communications, and personal hygiene items while in custody, as well as to support their families with housing, food, and utilities during their absence from work. A fundraiser was organized by to cover legal, travel, and family support expenses as the brothers work through the immigration process.
