Father of two detained by ICE at Sikeston rodeo after overstaying visa

Laurentino Matuz Reyes, 39, a Mexican national, was detained by ICE agents at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo after his lawful entry authorization expired in 2022. Local law enforcement encountered him at the event, and he was taken into ICE custody along with two other individuals. He remained in custody pending removal proceedings.
