The first ICE deportation flight to Haiti since the Supreme Court upheld the Trump administration's power to end Temporary Protected Status landed in Cap-Haïtien with more than 160 Haitian nationals. The flight avoided Port-au-Prince due to gang violence and a US flight ban to the capital. Deportees, many covering their faces out of fear of gang targeting, were given about $76 each upon arrival.
