Haitian man detained by ICE alongside pastor at Ohio gas station

Victor Yonel, 50, was detained by ICE at a Springfield, Ohio gas station on Aug. 20 alongside pastor Gilbert Joubert Adrien. Yonel's wife was in the car at the time but was not detained. He has a pending case in Cleveland Immigration Court with no scheduled hearings, and advocates said they were unaware of any deportation order against him. Yonel is currently held at Butler County Jail.
