Five men, described as fathers and husbands who serve as primary breadwinners for their families, were detained by ICE agents during a Labor Day weekend camping trip in the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest in Western Washington. According to the account, two park rangers first approached the campsite under the pretext of a trash issue and photographed the adults' identification, then federal agents returned just before midnight, shook the families' tents, and arrested the five men. The men were being held at a facility in Tacoma, and their families were reported to be raising funds for legal representation and fearful the men would be transferred out of state.
