ICE agents chase and arrest three immigrants at Metairie business

ICE New Orleans agents arrested three people at a busy intersection in Metairie on Tuesday morning, surrounding them in a business parking lot at Airline Drive and Clearview Parkway around 7:30 a.m. One of the individuals fled on foot into oncoming traffic, dodging vehicles across six lanes before agents caught and arrested him. ICE said all three were unlawfully present and are held in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings, but did not release their identities or reasons for arrest.
