Federal agents raided at least six to seven locations in McAllen, Texas, including the used clothing store Tres Dimensiones Ropa Usada, as part of a criminal investigation led by Homeland Security Investigations. Witnesses said the operation began around 11 a.m. and lasted until about 6:30 p.m., with three buses full of people seen leaving the area. Texas Department of Public Safety troopers blocked public access to the building while masked HSI and Border Patrol agents conducted the raid. Several people who were apprehended, including shoppers, were released after showing U.S. birth certificates.
