Ricardo Gonzalez, a 40-year-old U.S. citizen born in Hanford, California, was riding his e-bike near Elm Avenue and 56th Street in North Long Beach when federal immigration agents struck him with their unmarked vehicle and tased him twice, according to his daughter Leslie Gonzalez. Video shows agents handcuffing Gonzalez while he lay face down in the gutter screaming that his arm was broken; he was taken to a hospital. Gonzalez worked for the city of Long Beach for about eight years, most recently in the utilities department, and his daughter described him as a hardworking, friendly family man who enjoys riding his e-bike and repairing cars. His daughter started a GoFundMe to cover his hospital bills and potential legal expenses, which had raised over $8,100 by Sunday.
