Parisa Firouzabadi and Pouria Pourhosseinhendabad, a married couple and students at LSU, were having tea in their Baton Rouge apartment on a Sunday evening in June when two men claiming to be police officers knocked on their door. The officers said they wanted to discuss a hit-and-run accident the couple had reported weeks earlier and asked to see damage on their car, luring them outside. According to court documents, the men were actually ICE officers using the ruse to arrest the couple.
