Christopher Ruiz de Jesus, 26, was detained by masked federal agents outside TOS Wheels and Tires in Lynnwood, Washington, on Saturday, Oct. 17. His fiancée, Jade Gaspar, said a man posing as a customer asked him questions about tires and lured him outside, where other masked agents in tactical gear moved in and took him into custody. Gaspar said Ruiz de Jesus has lived in the U.S. since he was about 5 years old and has no criminal history. She is now searching for an attorney and trying to figure out how to pay rent and bills while explaining his absence to their nearly 2-year-old son, who keeps asking for his father.
