As of February 16, 2026, 86 detainees were identified as pregnant in ICE custody, including nine in the final trimester, and 16 miscarriages in detention had been recorded by late September 2025. Human Rights Watch and other advocates noted health risks associated with detaining pregnant individuals and identified gaps in medical care.
