370 undocumented immigrants arrested in New Orleans enforcement operation

Operation Catahoula Crunch has resulted in 370 arrests of undocumented immigrants since its December 3 launch, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The two-month enforcement operation aims to make 5,000 arrests across New Orleans. DHS stated that among those arrested were individuals alleged to be involved in drug dealing and hit-and-run incidents. The operation has prompted community monitoring and activism from local groups.
