Fernando Vazquez, an 18-year-old U.S. citizen, was detained by Border Patrol agents at his workplace in Cary, North Carolina on November 20, 2025, during a broader immigration enforcement sweep. Agents confiscated his wallet and personal belongings, including college and high school IDs and AirPods, before placing him in a vehicle.
