Wyoming sheriff's deputies arrest 70 undocumented immigrants in two months through ICE partnership
Nov 26, 2025 · Cheyenne, WY
Laramie County Sheriff Brian Kozak announced that his deputies, trained under a federal ICE program, have arrested approximately 70 undocumented immigrants in the Cheyenne area over two months. This includes 40 truck drivers arrested during a three-day sweep with ICE and Wyoming Highway Patrol, plus around 30 others pulled over by deputies and handed to ICE since October 1. Civil rights advocates question whether the enforcement is targeting the "worst of the worst" as promised or casting a wider net.
