Venezuelan TPS holder detained despite approval, calls conditions inhumane

He describes detention conditions as prison-like, with expensive phone calls and inadequate medical care. Nearly 48,000 people are currently in ICE custody, the highest number since 2019, as advocates demand releases and an end to mass detention expansion.
