A volunteer with an immigrant activist group monitoring ICE enforcement activity was bear-sprayed by an ICE agent on Father's Day in Santa Barbara. The agent deployed bear spray through the open rear window of her vehicle after she stepped out to observe ICE activity near San Pascual and Sola streets. The woman covered her face with her arm to protect it from the spray and reportedly recovered well.
