Sawyer, a US citizen, pulled over to film ICE arresting someone from a distance. When an agent told him to leave, Sawyer began pulling forward, but another agent stepped in front of his car and reached for his gun. Confused — especially after Renee Good's killing days earlier — Sawyer hit the brakes and put his car in park. The first agent shattered his window, sending glass into Sawyer's face and cutting his forehead. Agents had him lie face down on the road and handcuffed him. He was held at the Whipple Federal Building for four hours, shackled at the ankles for nearly the entire time. He was never told why he was arrested.
