Two arrested after fleeing ICE agents during Potomac River chase

Two people from Mexico were arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after fleeing from federal agents during a commercial vehicle enforcement operation near Lock 10 of the C&O Canal and Clara Barton Parkway in Montgomery County, Maryland on Wednesday. The two individuals were taken into custody pending deportation. A third person fled the scene by swimming across the Potomac River and remains at large.
