Man pulled from motorcycle by police in Odessa, TX after saying he did not speak English, transferred to ICE
Armando G. was driving his motorcycle to work in Odessa, Texas, when police pulled him over. The officer immediately asked if he spoke English. When Armando said he did not, the officer looked angry and forcefully pulled his left arm, hauling him from the motorcycle. He fell to the ground, and the officer forced his arms behind his back, handcuffed him, and took him to Odessa County Jail. He later learned he was pulled over for an outstanding fine.
