Mexican man detained by ICE after hit-and-run injures four pedestrians in Nashville

ICE lodged an immigration detainer with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office for Felipe Alvarado Hernandez, a 47-year-old Mexican national, following his arrest in a hit-and-run crash that injured four pedestrians in downtown Nashville. Hernandez faces multiple charges including reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident. He had previously agreed to removal in 2004 after a Michigan arrest before illegally reentering the country.
