A woman working at the El Corralón nightclub and restaurant in Memphis was arrested during an ICE raid on August 30 and, due to a prior order of removal, was flown to Central America within days. Her husband had already been deported the previous year after a traffic stop in Memphis, and the couple has since reunited abroad. However, their four children, who are U.S. citizens, remain in Memphis living with their grandmother, as no power of attorney had been arranged and the kids lack passports, complicating reunification efforts. The mother said she has been 'horribly depressed' being separated from her children.
