U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, with support from federal, state, and local partners, conducted an operation at China Buffet restaurant in Greeneville, arresting approximately 10 people. Photos taken by nearby witnesses showed the individuals sitting on a curb with law enforcement officers standing in front of them. The restaurant, located in the Fairgrounds Plaza, closed early and remained closed that evening, and ICE described the matter as an active ongoing investigation.
