Dian Peter Domach, 33, of South Sudan, was released on discretionary parole from Nebraska prison custody on May 2, 2025, and arrested by immigration authorities six days later. He was placed on a deportation flight to South Sudan that a federal judge later ruled violated a court order requiring migrants be given a meaningful opportunity to object to removal. Domach had prior convictions for robbery and possession of a deadly weapon, and represented himself in his appeals.
