ICE agents stopped a white SUV near the intersection of Acushnet Avenue and Sawyer Street in New Bedford on Tuesday, and a man ran from the vehicle. Four agents chased him down, tackled him to the ground, and one agent tased him for about 15 seconds. Nearby business workers, including a hair salon employee and a taqueria co-owner, said they were frightened and locked their doors as agents passed by.
