Around 4 p.m. Tuesday, five ICE agents in four vehicles arrested two men taken from a vehicle stopped in front of Restaurante y Tortilleria Guatemalteco on Acushnet Avenue in New Bedford. Volunteers from LUCE New Bedford blew whistles and shouted at the agents while a reporter's questions about the arrests went unanswered; the driver identified one of the men only as "Mario Aguilar." Agents blocked further questioning before driving away with the men in custody.
