Undocumented immigrant injured scaling jail fence to evade ICE

A 25-year-old man scaled a fence at Santa Barbara County jail to escape ICE agents attempting to apprehend him on March 27. He was injured during the fence jump and found hiding between storage containers in the secured perimeter. He was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and cited for trespassing.
