Four US citizens including 15-year-old held at gunpoint after 15 armed agents broke into their home in Burnsville
Dec 2025 · Burnsville, MN
Sofia Alvarado, a US citizen, was home with her mother, 20-year-old daughter, and 15-year-old niece — all US citizens — when around 15 armed and masked ICE agents broke through their front door in Burnsville, Minnesota. The four women and girl hid in the bathroom, terrified. Agents busted open the bathroom door with guns drawn. The family held up their hands and said they were citizens, offering to show their papers, but agents refused. They were held at the kitchen table for 30 minutes while agents searched the home and confiscated their phones. Agents broke two additional doors. The raid left the front door unable to close in freezing temperatures. Sofia said she has never felt this level of fear in over 20 years in the US.
