Haitian man with humanitarian parole and pending asylum detained by ICE while scanning work badge at Minnesota airport

A man who lawfully entered the United States as part of the Haitian Humanitarian Parole Program, and who had a work permit and a pending asylum application, was detained by ICE as he was scanning his work badge at the airport in Minnesota. He was unlawfully detained for over two months before a federal judge ordered his release.
