Feb 2025 · San Diego, CA, Cameroon
Audrey, a 36-year-old woman from Cameroon, was expelled from the U.S. to Panama on a military plane without an asylum interview. In Panama, she received a negative asylum decision based on a 10-minute interview. When the officer handed her the rejection, he told her she could appeal but said not to bother — the decision would not change.
