Aug 20, 2026
GEO Group, a private prison and immigration detention operator, contributed $1.4 million to MAGA Inc., a super PAC supporting President Trump, according to Federal Election Commission records reviewed by The Lever. The donations, made in July, came weeks after GEO Group secured two five-year Department of Homeland Security contracts to operate immigration detention processing facilities in Colorado and North Carolina. The company has publicly estimated the contracts will generate more than $160 million in annual revenue.
